Finding Forever Homes
At Byfleet Cat Rescue, our goal is to find the right home for every cat in our care. Each cat is fully assessed while with us, allowing us to understand their personality, needs, and the type of home where they will truly thrive. From playful youngsters to calm, affectionate adults, we take great care to match our cats with adopters who can offer them love, patience, and security.
Our Adoption Process
Because we are a foster-based rescue, our cats live in home environments rather than a rescue centre. This helps us learn all about them and ensures smoother transitions into their forever homes. Our adoption process is designed to be supportive and thoughtful, always putting the cat’s wellbeing first. If you’re ready to welcome a cat into your life, we’d love to help you find your perfect match and start a happy new chapter together.
Meet Your Purr-fect Match
Adopt
Ivy
Age: Estimated 1–2 years
Breed/Colour: Calico
Location Found: Uxbridge
Ivy is a beautiful young calico girl who came into our care after being rescued from Uxbridge. She arrived pregnant and sadly miscarried, but she has since made a full recovery and is now thriving.
She is fully health checked, microchipped, neutered and vaccinated, with no ongoing medical concerns.
Ivy has a wonderfully gentle nature and is very friendly, affectionate and people-oriented. She enjoys human company and would be well suited to a loving family environment where she can receive plenty of attention and care.
After a difficult start to life, Ivy is now ready to begin her next chapter in a safe, secure and permanent home.
Adopt
Ember
Age: 18 months
Breed: Domestic Short Hair (DSH)
Colour: Black
Location Found: Surrey
Ember is a friendly 18-month-old girl who was rescued from the streets along with her three kittens — Ash, Soot and Coal. After being a wonderful mum, Ember is now ready to find a loving home of her own.
She is a calm, affectionate cat who enjoys human company and would thrive in a quiet, adult household. As we are unsure how Ember is with young children, a home with older, cat-savvy children would be preferred.
Ember would benefit from access to a safe outdoor environment once she has fully settled into her new home.
If you are looking for a gentle and loving companion, Ember could be the perfect match.
Adopt
Tiger
Age: Estimated 4 years
Breed/Colour: Ginger & White
Colour: Black
Location Found: Carshalton
Gorgeous Tiger came into our care after struggling to get along with the resident cat in his previous home. He is a very confident, bold boy who knows exactly what he wants from life – to be the centre of attention!
Tiger would thrive as an only cat, where he can truly relax and enjoy all the love without having to share. He is incredibly friendly, affectionate and full of character, and would love a home with safe outdoor access so he can explore before returning for cuddles.

Fantastic charity to be a part of fostering this little baby Beauty. Nikki, Emma and the other trustees are brilliant in communicating updates and making sure all fosters are well stocked with food, litter and toys galore for the fur babies. It’s wonderful to feel so involved and supported being new to Byfleet village, all of us coming together to support the cause in making sure no cats and kittens are left out on the streets cold and hungry. Well done BCR! I hope the charity grows from strength to strength 🐾 Georgie xPosted on Vicki JohnsonTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I became a kitty Foster mum just before Christmas for the BCR. An amazing team of people doing fantastic things to help the feline population. Making the jump to become a Foster mum was made so easy by the team. Lots of daily support accessible if I need it. Our kitty arrived with all the necessities for her stay. I would definitely Foster from BCR again.Posted on Lindsay DruckmanTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I am a volunteer foster carer for Byfleet Cat Rescue. Currently we have one cat staying with us until she is ready for adoption, this is our 3rd foster cat with Byfleet Cat Rescue. Nikki, Emma and the team at Byfleet Cat Rescue do a fantastic job reuniting, rescuing, fostering and rehoming cats and kittens. A small but very friendly rescue who always have the cats best interest at heart.
